Vic
You leave Barcelona and drive with the camper in about 1.5 hours to the medieval city of Vic. This place is located inland about 65 kilometers from Barcelona. Vic is an important Catalan city with a long history and rich local culture. There are a number of historical monuments to visit in the city, including the impressive main square and town hall. Vic is also known for its gastronomy, with the local cured meats considered some of the best in Catalonia.

Girona
You drive through the beautiful volcanic and mountain landscape from Vic to Girona. Girona has a beautiful historic Jewish quarter that is easy to visit walking. There are many museums and the stone buildings are surrounded by narrow streets. You can stroll around in this neighborhood and enjoy the nice bars and restaurants. Girona is also “the place to be” for an afternoon of shopping with its many diverse shops, including antique shops. Admire the picturesque houses on the river Onyar and also a visit to the famous Cathedral should not be missed.Figueres
Figueres is the birth and final resting place of the famous painter Salvador Dalí. Visit the Dalí Museum with one of the largest collections of the painter’s works. The museum is one large surrealistic object and is located in a former theater. This 19th-century city theater was badly destroyed during the Spanish Civil War, after which Salvador Dalí decided to set up his own museum on the ruins in his native village. In addition to the Dali Museum, it is also highly recommended to visit the castle of Sant Ferran. An 18th century military fortress built on top of a hill just outside of Figueres. It has a circumference of more than three kilometers, making it the largest historical monument in Catalonia and one of the largest fortresses in Europe.
Cadaques / El Port de la Selva
You leave the interior and drive with your camper to the coast where you visit the fishing village of Cadaques. The town is also called the pearl of the Costa Brava because of the white painted houses and the beautiful church. Many famous painters were inspired in Cadaques to make the most beautiful paintings. You will therefore find many small boutiques and art galleries. Close to this famous fishing village you can enjoy a lovely walk to Cap de Creus where you have spectacular views over the coastline and the Mediterranean Sea.Calella de Palafrugel
From Cadaques travel with the camper to Calella de Palafrugell, perhaps the most photographed coastal town on the Costa Brava. Along the way you can stop in the picturesque medieval villages, Pals and Peretallada. Once you have arrived in Calella, you can park the camper at one of the campsites and from those campsites you can walk straight into the village to the beach where you’ll find delicious (fish) restaurants and trendy cocktail bars. Enjoy a beautiful sunset while taking a delicious snack or cocktail.
